Dr. Evyan A. Cord-Cruz is the Director, Global Medical Affairs at Symbio, where she has been a key contributor since October 2003. With over 33 years of experience in clinical research and medical affairs, she specializes in medical monitoring, clinical trial oversight, and regulatory compliance.
Dr. Cord-Cruz has played a pivotal role in numerous clinical trials, particularly in dermatology and dermal filler device studies. Her expertise extends to protocol and clinical study report (CSR) development, project management, and training clinical teams, ensuring high-quality execution and regulatory adherence.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Cord-Cruz served as Director of Medical Affairs, and Medical Monitor at Symbio. Her previous experience includes positions at Research Testing Labs as a Clinical Research Coordinator, New York University as a Research Scientist, and Beth Israel Medical Center as a Senior Research Analyst.
Dr. Cord-Cruz earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas. Her extensive knowledge in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), pharmacovigilance, and relevant regulatory frameworks makes her an asset in guiding clinical project leaders on the medical and scientific aspects of research.
