Evyan A. Cord-Cruz, MD

Dr. Cord-Cruz is the Director of Global Medical Affairs at Symbio, where she has been a key contributor since October 2003. With over 33 years of experience in clinical research and medical affairs, she specializes in medical monitoring, medical writing, clinical trial medical oversight, and ensuring regulatory compliance over a variety of therapeutic areas, including but not limited to dermatology, aesthetics, inflammation, ophthalmology, and women’s health.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Cord-Cruz served as Director of Medical Affairs (2011-2024) and Medical Monitor (2003-Present) at Symbio. Her previous experience includes positions at Research Testing Labs as a Clinical Research Coordinator, New York University as a Research Scientist, and Beth Israel Medical Center as a Senior Research Analyst.
Dr. Cord-Cruz earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Phillipines. Her extensive knowledge in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), pharmacovigilance, and relevant regulatory frameworks makes her a valuable asset in guiding clinical project leaders on the medical and scientific aspects of research.
