Sherri Walwyn
Associate Director, Business Development
Sherri brings over 2.5 years of experience in business development and clinical research solutions within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Since joining Symbio in 2025, she has focused on building strong client relationships, expanding new business opportunities, and driving strategic growth initiatives.
Before joining Symbio, Sherri held key roles at Caidya, Worldwide Clinical Trials, and Lexitas, where she served in various business development positions supporting sponsor engagement and trial delivery across multiple therapeutic areas. She began her career as a licensed Physical Therapist, treating patients across inpatient, outpatient, acute rehabilitation, and home healthcare settings for over six years at organizations including Interim Healthcare and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Her unique blend of clinical and commercial expertise allows her to understand both patient needs and sponsor goals, enabling her to foster long-term, solutions-focused partnerships.
Sherri holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College in New York and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston in South Carolina.
Sherri’s relationship-driven approach and medical insight make her a valuable contributor to Symbio’s continued business development and client success.
