Tom is the Chief Technology Officer at Symbio, with an impressive 19 year tenure at the company. In his role, Tom oversees technical operations, guiding IT teams to ensure that technology initiatives are aligned with Symbio’s strategic goals and mission as well as serving as an Executive Team Member. He is responsible for developing, leading, and enforcing global technology policies, ensuring that technologies are used efficiently, securely, and profitably.
Tom has 26 years of industry experience, with a deep focus on computer system validation, software and infrastructure architecture, and strategic, scalable solution planning. His ability to integrate business goals with evolving technologies and his expertise in global IT team management make him a key driver in supporting Symbio’s technological growth and alignment with operational objectives.
With a B.S. in Computer Science from SUNY Albany, Tom has built a career that bridges the gap between biometrics and information technology, particularly within the CRO industry. His experience spans a wide range of IT leadership roles, including Director of Data Management & IT, Director of Data Systems & IT and Director of Business Administration & IT.
